Welcome to the Freeman School at Tulane. Here you will find an exciting array of business focused programs in a world-class setting. In addition to the Full-time MBA Program, the Freeman School offers evening and weekend MBA options for working professionals. When career objectives require more than a single focus, Freeman responds with joint-degree programs in law, health systems management, political science and Latin American studies, as well as a combined baccalaureate and MBA program. Master of Accounting and Master of Finance programs, doctoral studies and a dynamic undergraduate program complement the range of academic programs available at the Freeman School.  

The Freeman School is active around the world with a number of facilities and programs.  In New Orelans, LA. and Houston, Tx. Freeman supports hundreds of students each year achieve their academic and professional goals.  In Shanghai, China; Taipei, Taiwan; and Santiago, Chile Freeman faculty work with leading programs to offer world class degree programs.  The Freeman School is one of four partner institutions making up the Global MBA for the Americas.

Admissions Offices
The Graduate Admissions office handles admissions for graduate business programs in New Orleans, which includes full-time MBA, part-time MBA (Professional MBA), Master of Accounting, Master of Finance, and Special Students.
The Freeman School in New Orleans is open to calls, visits, and e-mail messages Monday-Friday from 8:30 - 5:00 PM CST. Since regular classes do not meet on Fridays, we encourage you to schedule your visit on Monday - Thursday. Call ahead for hotel arrangements and special events taking place in New Orleans. New Orleans Executive MBA Admissions are handled through the Stewart Center for Executive Education. Informational meetings, interviews, and class visits are available to interested candidates. Information sessions are held monthly at the Freeman School in New Orleans and in Houston. Programs


MBA Full-time - A unique opportunity to learn in a world-class setting with peers from dozens of countries and U.S. states. Freeman's full-time MBA sets a benchmark for management education that has been recognized around the world. While the program is designed around a two year schedule of courses, students have considerable flexibility in selection of courses and scheduling.  Click here to download the 32 page MBA brochure.

Professional MBA Program - Students who are employed can obtain the MBA through evening studies. The Professional MBA program begins with a one-credit Executive Perspectives module followed by 12 two-credit-hour core courses and 30 credit hours of electives. Students are encouraged to complete the 55 credit-hour program in three years. Attend an info session to learn more about our professional program.

Executive MBA Program - Tulane offers Executive MBA programs in New Orleans, Houston, Chile, Taiwan and China.  These programs are designated for experienced managers and professionals who wish to earn an MBA degree without interrupting their careers.  Executive MBA students move through the lock-step curricula in an accelerated format.  Classes are primarily held on alternate weekends, coupled with intensive weeks and an international seminar.  For more information, please contact the Stewart Center for Executive Education at (504)865-5481, (800)827-3622, or executive.ed@tulane.edu.

Master of Accounting - Tulane's 30 credit hour program designed to meet the needs of future accounting professionals. Unique features of the program are the ability to custom design a curriculum based on your career aspirations as well as a busy (accounting) season internship.

Master of Finance - For students interested in a future in Finance, Freeman offers a one year program in New Orleans or  Houston. The M.Fin. program is designed for students who want in-depth coverage of finance without the broad-based managerial curriculum typical of MBA studies.

Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) - The Freeman School's undergraduate business program ranks among the nation's best. Undergraduate majors in accounting, consumer behavior/marketing, finance, legal studies in business, managing human and social capital and strategy and entrepreneurship are options for Tulane's business students.

Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.) - The Ph.D. program in business administration at the Freeman School of Business is a full-time, research-intensive program. It offers concentrated study of accounting, finance, and organizational Behavior.

Special Students - Specific courses may be taken at the Freeman School providing the applicant has an adequate background in the subject. These courses cannot count to future degree requirements, and are usually taken to meet specific professional needs.   Contact Graduate admissions for more information.
