Goldring/Woldenberg Hall and the new Goldring/Woldenberg Hall II are “virtual computer labs” with wireless connectivity throughout each building as well as traditional Ethernet connections. These connections allow students with notebook computers to connect to the Freeman Network as well as to Tulane’s online services and the Internet. Computing facilities throughout the building include two labs, an electronic classroom, research stations in the library, teaching stations in each classroom and email stations. Media Services provides audio/visual support to the students, faculty and staff of the Freeman School to enhance our educational programs and to improve the communication effectiveness of our students. Located in Goldring/Woldenberg Hall 201, Media Services maintains and supports classroom projectors, videocassette recorders, overhead transparency projectors and slide projectors. The office also provide equipment and facilities to videotape presentations and maintains Burkenroad TargetVision, the Freeman School’s video bulletin board system. |
