The Freeman School offers the full-time MBA program, as well as evening and weekend MBA options for working professionals at campuses in New Orleans and in Houston. When career objectives require more than a single focus, Freeman responds with joint-degree programs in engineering, law, health systems management, medicine, and Latin American studies, as well as a combined baccalaureate and MBA program. Freeman teams with three leading Latin American universities to offer a Global MBA with a decidedly Latin American perspective. A Master of Accounting, a Master of Finance, doctoral studies and a dynamic undergraduate program complement the range of academic programs available at the Freeman School.
MBA
Freeman's full-time program begins with an intensive program designed to enable you to discover Freeman's global perspectives, peers, and opportunities in one of the world's premier MBA programs. The two-year MBA features an intensive set of core courses delivered in a team setting and electives that build on the core topics and enable you to focus on your potential. Global Leadership classes each semester focus on one region of the global economy and wrap up with a excursions to Mexico, France and China where final class sessions and presentations are made. A challenging management strategy series delivered over the two years of the MBA program take the emerging manager from business valuation to strategic planning. These modules, when combined with the concentrations, the faculty, and the experience, create for the Tulane MBA, a truly unique MBA experience.
Global MBA
The program is a joint-venture of four prestigious business schools: ITAM, Mexico City, Mexico; IESA, Caracas, Venezuela; Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia, and; Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The Freeman MBA student may use this option to accelerate their full-time MBA program to three semesters or to earn a dual degree, MBA/Master of Global Management.
Professional MBA
New Orleans PMBA (part-time, evening program)
Students who are employed full-time can obtain the MBA through evening studies.Core MBA concepts are sequenced so that the professional MBA can develop the team and leadership skills - whileelectives allow considerable flexibility. Students generally complete theProfessional MBA in less than three years. All students completingthe Professional MBA develop an Internationalbusiness supporting concentration and have a number of international experience options.
Houston PMBA (alternate weekend program)
Held on alternate weekends on Tulane's Houston campus, students earn a Tulane MBA in 23 months. The lock-step program includes an international seminar and a weekend residency in Mexico.
Executive MBA
Designed for mid- to upper-level managers and professionals, Tulane's EMBA programs offer weekend schedules, accelerated curricula, advanced services, and provides an excellent format for candidates to earn an MBA without interrupting their careers. Executive MBA programs are conducted in New Orleans, Houston, Taipei (Taiwan), Shanghai (China), and Santiago (Chile). Master of Accounting
Enabling the student to meet CPA requirements and building a solid foundation of accounting skills are the focus of Freeman's MACCT. An undergraduate in business is the suggested foundation for the MACCT. A core set of accounting courses is required to begin the one-year program.
Master of Finance
New Orleans MFIN
This one year program that starts in July is intended for talented, recent graduates that have an interest in the quantitative side of Finance.
Houston MFIN
Tulane's Houston campus offers a 13-month, alternate weekend Master of Finance program. The challenging quantitative curriculum and superior faculty provides a powerful and robust base to maneuver in the world of finance.
Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) - The Freeman School's undergraduate business program ranks among the nation's best. Undergraduate majors in accounting, consumer behavior/marketing, finance, legal studies in business, managing human and social capital and strategy and entrepreneurship are options for Tulane's business students.
Special Studies - Specific courses may be taken at the Freeman School providing the applicant has an adequate background in the subject. These courses cannot count to future degree requirements, and are usually taken to meet specific professional needs.
