For students whose career objectives require training in more than one discipline, the Freeman School offers several joint degree programs in conjunction with other divisions at Tulane. These programs offer students the opportunity to obtain two graduate degrees or a graduate degree and a baccalaureate degree in less time and at less expense than pursuing the degrees separately. Candidates must receive admission to both schools as well as obtain approval from the Joint Degree Program Committee to pursue these programs. The Freeman School offers these joint-degree programs:

JD/MBA: This program prepares students to consider the legal side of business and the business aspects of law. Law firms require sound managment decisions, and their clients often require attorneys with the ability to comprehend the complexities of business. Likewise, effective business managers and entrepreneurs must comprehend the legal environments in which they operate.
Office of Admission, Weinmann Hall, Suite 203,6329 Freret Street, New Orleans, LA 70118 MD/MBA: In 2004, the School of Medicine , in conjunction with Tulane's Freeman School of Business established a 5-year combined MD/MBA Program. Students desiring entry into this program will typically apply to the business school during their first year of medical school after taking the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Students accepted into the combined program complete three years of medical school and then complete a full year at the business school. The final year of the program is completed spending a semester at each school. The program aims to train physicians with an appreciation of business practices, commerce, and the marketplace.
