Tulane Association of Business Alumni
Career Mentors and Network The A.B. Freeman School of Business has a very strong and important connection to its alumni base through its mentor and networking program. This resource is an extremely valuable tool for both students and alumni. Studies indicate that networking provides a vital link to the current job market and that more jobs are found through networking than through any other method or medium. At the Freeman School, that vital link to alumni is available through its mentors.

What is a mentor?
A mentor is a Freeman School alumnus/a who has volunteered to assist in giving career advice and guidance to students and other alumni within their chosen field. It allows fellow Tulanians the opportunity to network and share valuable insight and practical advice with each other covering a wide spectrum of fields and industries. Many alumni find it an invaluable tool when reengineering their careers or when relocating.
