Gifts to Freeman

Continuing a great tradition requires commitment. At Tulane's A. B. Freeman School of Business, we accomplish this mission year after year, thanks in part to contributions from you, our alumni and friends. Because of your support, Tulane continues to maintain its leadership in both the business and academic communities.

What Your Gifts Support

  • Building Progress: In November 2003, support from our alumni and friends resulted in the opening of Goldring/ Woldenberg Hall II, a $25 million center for graduate and executive programs. Click here for more information on the new building. Looking ahead, the Freeman School is preparing for a major renovation of the Goldring/ Woldenberg Hall I, which will be specifically programmed for our undergraduates.
  • Student Programs and Activities: Support of the Freeman School ensures continued funding of valuable student programs, such as excellent student-advising and career services; activities that encourage interaction among students, faculty and alumni; and unique programs like Burkenroad Reports, the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship, the Darwin Fenner Student-Managed Fund, Freeman Days in New York and Houston, and the Freeman Distinguished Lecture Series.
  • Quality of Education: Contributions make up a considerable portion of operating costs at the business school and directly assist us in providing our students with the highest quality of education possible. Monies raised enable us to attract and retain an outstanding faculty, benefit scholarships and fellowships, provide money for special projects and initiatives, and ensure that our physical plant serves our students in the most effective way possible, especially in the rapidly changing area of technology. Furthermore, a significant criterion used in ranking universities is the percentage of graduates who give to their alma mater.
