Undergraduate
The A. B. Freeman School of Business offers a nationally ranked undergraduate program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) degree. Emphasizing a generalist approach to management education, the BSM program trains well-rounded managers who can analyze problems and propose workable solutions. BSM students are taught by the same outstanding faculty who teach in our graduate business programs. The Freeman School, housed in Goldring/Woldenberg Complex, provides state-of-the-art business education facilities.
Students spend two years studying liberal arts and sciences, typically in Newcomb-Tulane College where they complete general liberal arts requirements and a set of prerequisite courses. Prerequisites include financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics, calculus, statistics, and psychology. Majors include Accounting, Consumer Behavior-Marketing, Finance, Legal Studies in Business, Managing Human and Social Capital, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Please review the 2007-2008 BSM Curriculum which outlines the coursework that must be completed to obtain the BSM degree.
