Information systems professionals define, develop, and maintain the information systems infrastructure that supports the operations of all businesses, governments, and other institutions. These professionals use a wide variety of skills ranging from managerial to highly technical in carrying out this professional function. This major will help graduates to pursue opportunities in business analysis, consulting, information systems (IS) design, IS management, programming, and administration.
