Marketing Major
Building on the marketing management survey course, the marketing major can tailor the curriculum to prepare for various careers in sales/promotion, research, and management of products and services, both domestically and internationally.
To earn the BSM degree with a transcript designation as a marketing major, complete the following courses:
General liberal arts and sciences requirements (approximately 44 hours)
Freeman prerequisites (a minimum of 18 hours): ACCT 203 - Financial Accounting MATH 115, 121, or 131 - Calculus MATH 111, 114, or ECON 323 - Statistics ECON 101 or 103 - Microeconomics ECON 102 or 104 - Macroeconomics PSYC 100, 101, or 102 - Psychology
Freeman core curriculum (27 hours): ACCT 301 - Managerial Accounting ISDS 375 - Business Computing MKTG 382 - Marketing Management PERS 321 - Managerial Perspectives FINC 352 - Financial Management MCOM 335 - Management Communications OBHR 331 - Organizational Behavior PSOM 372 - Operations Management GMGT 415 - Management Policy
