The companies we cover are generally under-followed by Wall Street. This provides investors an opportunity to take a look at these companies before they are discovered by other investors. Importantly, investors should be aware that small stocks often offer limited liquidity and are generally quite a bit more volatile than their "blue chip" brethren. While these stocks are not household names, they have often produced attractive returns. An un-weighted average of the stocks included in each year's program would have outperformed both the S&P 500 and Russell 2000 indices since 1999. Since the program's inception, 22 of the companies we follow have been acquired.
