The Burkenroad Small-Cap Mutual Fund

Since its inception on December 31, 2001, the Burkenroad Small-Cap Mutual Fund (ticker symbols HYBUX and HHBUX) has outperformed about 99% of the nation's nearly 7,000 equity mutual funds. The fund has outperformed both the Standard & Poor's 500 (large cap stocks) and the Russell 2000 (small cap stocks) for the past 1, 3, 5 and 10 year periods.

The fund is managed by Hancock Bank and now has over $125 million in assets. Hancock's managers utilize our student-produced research reports (as well as other sources) in the management of the Burkenroad Fund.
