Undergraduate Courses for Entrepreneurship Specialization

Students pursuing a BSM who are applying for the Entrepreneurship Specialization notation on their final transcript need to submit a completed application to the Office of Undergraduate Education (Room 200, GWI) by the Application for Degree deadline. Required courses:

  • FINE   4130 Venture Capital and Private Equity (3 credit hours)
  • FINE   4210 Real Estate Planning and Development (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4010 Strategic Management (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4110 Cases in Entrepreneurship (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4140 Entrepreneurial Management* (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4150 Environment, Society and Capitalism (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4180 Management of New Technology and Innovation (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4230 International Marketing (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4600 Strategic Consulting (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4610 Management of New Ventures* (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Bioinnovation (1-3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Conscious Capitalism (1-3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Entrepreneurship
  • MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Family Business
  • MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Social Entrepreneurship

Enrollment limited to students with senior standing.

 

Students choosing the entrepreneurship track must also complete the following courses:

  • MGMT 4140 Entrepreneurial Management (3 credit hours)
  • MGMT 4610 Management of New Ventures

Students should submit any requests for waivers or deviations from these requirements in writing and addressed to Entrepreneurship Institute Faculty", c/o Lina Alfieri Stern at the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship, Goldring/Woldenberg Hall I, Suite 401.
