Undergraduate Courses
An undergraduate business student completing the following courses is eligible for
transcript designation of a major in strategy and entrepreneurship. In addition, strategy
and entrepreneurship majors select a career track-either consulting or entrepreneurship.
While each track has similar course requirements within the academic area, there are distinctly different course requirements outside the academic area.
Required:Students choosing either track must complete the following courses:
MGMT 400 Independent Study: BioInnovation Commercialization (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 400 Independent Study: Conscious Capitalism (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 400 Independent Study: Entrepreneurship (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 400 Independent Study: Family Business (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 400 Independent Study: Social Entrepreneurship (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 400 Independent Study: International Marketing (1-3 credit hours)
MGMT 201 Strategic Management (3 credit hours)
MGMT 411 Cases in Entrepreneurship (3 credit hours)
MGMT 414 Entrepreneurial Management (3 credit hours)
MGMT 415 Environment, Society, and Capital (3 credit hours)
MGMT 418 Management of Technology and Innovation (3 credit hours)
MGMT 460 Strategic Consulting (3 credit hours)
MGMT 461 New Venture Creation (3 credit hours)
Students choosing the consulting track must also complete the following courses:
