Center for Doctoral Studies & Research

Established by the Ella West Freeman Foundation in 1991, this center provides funding for the administration of Freeman doctoral programs in business and supports workshops and seminars. The seventh floor of Goldring/Woldenberg Hall houses office and research space for PhD students the United States, Asia, Europe an America.

Applied and Theoretical Research Studies
The PhD program's primary goal is to prepare individuals for research and teaching careers in leading universities. The Freeman faculty, internationally-renowned and respected scholars who publish widely and serve on the editorial boards of leading academic journals, work closely with students on developmental research and analytical skills. Candidates also utilize faculty and student research while pursuing a course of rigorous study.

Business Consultations
Faculty and doctoral students often work with local firms and other organizations, solving business management problems and applying new management concepts.
