Applied and Theoretical Research Studies The PhD program's primary goal is to prepare individuals for research and teaching careers in leading universities. The Freeman faculty, internationally-renowned and respected scholars who publish widely and serve on the editorial boards of leading academic journals, work closely with students on developmental research and analytical skills. Candidates also utilize faculty and student research while pursuing a course of rigorous study. Business Consultations Faculty and doctoral students often work with local firms and other organizations, solving business management problems and applying new management concepts. For more information on Doctoral Studies programs or faculty/student consulting, please contact Janice Hughes, director of PhD program admissions, at (504) 865-5438; fax number (504) 862-8770. |
