Undergraduate Courses

An undergraduate business student completing the following courses is eligible for
transcript designation of a major in strategy and entrepreneurship. In addition, strategy
and entrepreneurship majors select a career track in either consulting or entrepreneurship.
While each track has similar course requirements within the academic area, there are distinctly different course requirements outside the academic area.

Required:Students choosing either track must complete the following courses:

MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Conscious Capitalism (1-3 credit hours)

MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Entrepreneurship (1-3 credit hours)

MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Family Business (1-3 credit hours)

MGMT 4910 Independent Study: Social Entrepreneurship (1-3 credit hours)

MGMT 4910 Independent Study: International Marketing (1-3 credit hours)

MGMT 4010 Strategic Management (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4110 Cases in Entrepreneurship (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4140 Entrepreneurial Management (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4150 Environment, Society, and Capital (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4180 Management of Technology and Innovation (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4600 Strategic Consulting (3 credit hours)

MGMT 4610 New Venture Creation (3 credit hours)

Prerequisite: ISPM 301, MATH 114

STRE 4600 Strategic Consulting
Prerequisite: STRE 301

Enrollment limited to students with senior standing.

Students choosing the entrepreneurship track must also complete the following courses:

FINE 413 Venture Capital and Private Equity
Prerequisites: ISPM 301, FINE 301

STRE 421 Real Estate Planning Finance and Development
Prerequisite: STRE 301
