Mock Interviews

Mock interviews are an excellent and helpful way to understand the competitive strategies for interview preparation and participation. They provide students through interview role-play an opportunity to practice and prepare for an actual interview. It also allows students to learn the needed techniques in helping them sell themselves, their skills, and their abilities in a polished and professional manner. Mock interviews are available with CDC counselors through scheduled 45-minute appointments. To get the most out of your mock interview, students are strongly encouraged to schedule their appointment at least one week in advance so newly developed skills and strategies can be applied appropriately. To schedule your appointment, please stop by the Career Management Center, Suite 400. To find out more information on how to prepare for your upcoming interview, click on Job Search within the CDC web page or visit the Career Resource Library resource collection located in the Turchin Library on the third floor.

*Note: Because of the popularity of mock interviews and their benefits, we suggest you schedule your appointment well in advance since time availability may be limited.
