Computer Configuration
Your laptop is configured for use within the Tulane and Freeman School systems during the initial class sessions. Students can then access the online resources available for campus and remote access, including email, Internet, Intranet, online library databases and resources, and Blackboard.

Purchasing a Computer
If you currently own a laptop computer that is less than three years old, you may not need to purchase a new laptop immediately, which could result in substantial cost savings to you. If in doubt, please contact us at 800.827.3622 or executive.ed@tulane.edu for more information.

If you purchase a new laptop, we recommend that you do so just before the program begins so you can choose from the newest technology at the lowest prices. We also recommend that you purchase a maintenance agreement that extends through the length of the program.

Purchasing Software at Educational Discounts
At Orientation you will receive your Tulane email address, user name, and password. You can then purchase software, usually at substantial savings over retail sources. Please visit http://www.software.tulane.edu/ for more information.
