Trading Center Facility Details

In addition to the state-of-the-art commercial grade software available in the Trading Center, there is also more than $2 million of hardware.

The Trading Center consists of 28 student workstations, equipped with Intel Pentium 4 processors and 2GB of RAM connected to dual 19" flat-screen monitors.  The room also features real-time feeds from more than 22 exchanges, including the NYMEX, CME, ICE, NYSE which refresh more than 20 times every second.   During the course of the summer of 2009, a major upgrade of the workstations will take place.

The room is also equipped with a nine-panel interlaced video wall, two 8 ft. x 6 ft. projector screens, and three 50" state-of-the-art Pioneer plasma screens that can receive input from almost any source in the room. In addition, the Center has a live ticker scroll panel that continuously provides students with market updates.
