FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are Freeman Days New York, Houston, Washington DC?

Freeman Days are networking events where A. B. Freeman School business students travel to New York, Houston, and Washington DC to meet and network with employers and alumni in the area.

What are my options if I want to participate?
We have several options available to you:

Information Session followed by Interviews
A popular option of participating companies is to post openings through the Career Management Center prior to the event, then conduct an information session and interviews on-site during the event.
Host a Site Visit at Your Organization
This is a great way to educate students about your industry and to brand your company. You can also provide information about any job or internship opportunities or conduct a Q & A session.
Visits are as formal or informal as company's wish, without a commitment to recruit. Visits typically last from 1-3 hours and 10-30 students attend - specifics are determined by your company. In the past, some companies have chosen to host a breakfast or lunch or even light snacks.
Speed Networking (Location Information)
This is the latest addition to the Freeman Days events, and has proven to be an effective way for students and industry professionals to connect. The format allows for short, one-one-one, introductory meetings between students and professionals.
Alumni Networking Reception (Location Information)
This is an opportunity to reunite with Freeman friends, faculty, and staff as well as to meet new students and alumni of the school. It is a great way to expand your personal network.
