WHAT IS SPEED NETWORKING?
The Freeman School has introduced a new twist on traditional networking: speed. In a format adapted from "speed dating" singles events, students move from one recruiter to the next in five minute blocks, with two minutes to give an introductory pitch, two minutes to get feedback from the recruiter and one minute to move on to the next recruiter.

WHAT IS A SITE VISIT?
This is an event where you will go to an employer's location in New York, Houston, or DC. The employer will take this opportunity to educate you about their industry and brand and will sometimes provide a tour of the office. Often employers will share information about any job or internship opportunities or conduct a Q & A session. Sometimes site visits will also include interviews but that is NOT a guarantee. The benefit to you is that you can learn about and make contacts at many different companies which will be a huge help during your job search.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF FREEMAN DAYS?
Freeman Days was started as a way for us to bring employers, alumni and students together for their mutual benefit. We wanted students to have the opportunity to meet employers and alumni from other geographic locations in an organized event. We believe these events are very successful in helping students create their personal network.
