Freeman Days - Students

Freeman Days are the organized networking events sponsored in New York, Houston, Chicago and New Orleans each year with emphasis on career education, alumni networking and employment opportunity exploration. The goal for each Freeman Days event is to provide a meaningful experience for visiting students while engaging with company and alumni contacts that may be out-of-reach if not for the Freeman Days events.

The focus for Freeman Days is to provide ways for students to build a professional network in the city of each event. This is accomplished through Focused Networking Sessions, Corporate Visits and other one-on-one or small group meetings with alumni. In some situations, companies that recruit Freeman students will also use the visit to meet with eligible candidates that are chosen from job postings and other referrals.

Freeman Days - New Orleans - February 6 & 7, 2014
Freeman Days New Orleans will be held February 6 & 7, 2014

Freeman Days New Orleans is a networking focused event. There is no explicit focus on recruiting for this event yet many of the companies participating have job postings or recruiting dates already arranged with the CMC. Your preparation, professionalism and participation when meeting with alumni from companies goes a long way as you build your professional network for future opportunities.

Many Freeman alumni report that they first met a contact at Freeman Days that eventually led to opportunities to interview for employment.
