Strategic management professor joins Freeman

Carmen Weigelt has joined the Freeman School as assistant professor of strategic management.

Weigelt received her PhD from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 2003 and her MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1997. Prior to joining the Freeman School, she served as assistant professor of management at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. Her research focuses on firm capabilities, outsourcing, innovation and acquisition performance.
