Mission & Goals

Our Mission
This endowed institute promotes educational and research programs to enhance managerial effectiveness in the global environment. Through a global network of institutions and scholars, the Goldring Institute develops and offers programs for students, faculty, and executives which provide international experience as well as credit and non-credit training opportunities. It also supports scholarly research activities designed to advance knowledge of international markets and business institutions.

Strategic Goals
The Goldring Institute of International Business provides an organizational structure within the Freeman School to accomplish the following goals:
  • Coordinate all of the Freeman School's international programs;
  • Implement educational programs in international business for the Freeman School;
  • Facilitate faculty and student research in international business;
  • Serve as an international resource for business management education.
