Notebook Computing

Goldring/Woldenberg Halls I and II are designed to be "virtual computer labs", with wired and wireless networking throughout to support student notebook computers. Students can access the Freeman School's internal network, Tulane's online services, and the Internet by using any of the hundreds of network connections or wireless connectivity throughout both buildings.

Go wireless on the Freeman network! You can connect to the extensive Freeman network using this latest technology.

Networking

The Freeman network uses the University's security. You will need to register your wireless hardware's physical address with Tulane Information Services.

Remapping drives to your personal space on the Freeman network

There are various resources available to assist students with notebook computing issues. Freeman TechNotes are short documents outlining how to configure software or hardware or use available facilities.

Check the Support pages for a complete list of all Freeman TechNotes.
