The following databases are available to current Tulane faculty, staff, and students, and are licensed for academic research purposes only.
If connecting from a remote site, use your Tulane mail account ID (w/o the @tulane.edu part) and password when prompted. Report database technical problems by email or call the Turchin Library Services desk at 504-865-5376.
Indexes 3,000 academic journals, business magazines, and newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal. Entire database can be searched a number of ways, including by subject, article title, author, keywords, date range, and periodical title.
Current and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for both international and domestic markets.
Access to 12 Terminals with Dual Monitors & printer access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to current A.B. Freeman students and faculty at the Financial Analysis Lab - GW1, Room 342.

This database provides company and industry information, including industry surveys and market share analysis. Also includes links to associations.
A collection of actual business plans in many different areas.
Business Source Complete
Comprehensive index and abstracting of 3,800 journals, magazines, and other publications, 3,000 of which are available in full text. Entire database can be searched a number of ways, including by subject, article title, author, keywords, date range, and periodical title. Includes many core scholarly publications in the fields of marketing, management, accounting, finance, MIS, and international business.
Content covers the FASB, EITF, AICPA, IASB, IFAC, PCAOB, SEC, FASAB and GASB, as well as the requirements of eight key countries from around the world. Plus, we've added the FASB's new Accounting Standards Codification, which was launched in July 2009 as the single source of authoritative US accounting standards.

Industry reports include industry analysis, outlook, products and markets, market segments, supply chain, major players, competitive landscape, operating conditions, key statistics, and more. This subscription includes reports for the United States and China, as well as global industry reports. Specialized industry reports are also included along with US business environment data profiles. Reports are typically 35-40 pages in length.

Provides market research and industry news including coverage of sports participation, sports equipment sales, consumer expenditures, fan market, team research, venue reports, and sports marketing. SBRnet also includes full-text articles from VNU publications, and magazines and newsletters.
Standard and Poor's Net Advantage
Includes industry surveys, stock and mutual fund reports, corporation reports, dividends, and earnings. Extensive textual analysis of 52 industries, updated twice a year.
Select Index to government and private statistical sources, combining parts of the American Statistical Index and Statistical Reference Index .
Thomson One brings together company information from a variety of sources that are provided by Thomson Reuters including: company financials and filings, mergers and acquisitions data and analyst reports. Data types include: company overviews, company news and pricecharts, corporate governance (takeover defense), corporate financial fundamentals, estimates (and earnings surprises), debt overview, company deals, share ownership information, company research (formerly Investext), company financial filings, officers and directors.
Note: Must be used with Internet Explorer. Does not work in Firefox or Chrome.
Thomson One uses pop-ups. Set IE to accept pop-ups from Thomson One before entering the database to avoid having to redo search steps. Limit of 20 simultaneous users. Please remember to log off at the top right of the screen when your research is completed.
