New Master of Finance program in Houston announced
The Freeman School has established a new Master of Finance program to be offered at its Houston campus. The program, delivered in a 14-month, alternate weekend “executive” format, will begin in January 2008.
The Houston Master of Finance is designed to give working professionals an opportunity to sharpen their financial skills and reinforce their credentials with a minimum of inconvenience. The lock-step program follows a preset curriculum and offers extended student services including providing books, meals and other amenities to help simplify the “back-to-school” process.
“There’s currently no other option for finance professionals in the Houston area to enhance their credentials in a format that doesn't disrupt their lives,” says Russ Robins, associate dean for executive education. “The Houston Master of Finance was designed to meet that demand while expanding our offerings in one the Freeman School’s established areas of expertise.”
The Freeman School’s Houston campus is located in the Galleria area and currently offers Executive MBA and Professional MBA programs in addition to the Master of Finance.
