Semester Abroad

Undergraduate and MBA students may spend one semester abroad at our affiliates institutions.

These institutions include:

• Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, China
• ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid, Spain
• University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria
• Ecole superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC), Cergy Pontoise, France
• Leipzig School of Management, Leipzig, Germany
• Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios (ITESM), Monterrey, Mexico
• Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia
• Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile
• Universidad del Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo, Brazil Students electing this option pay local tuition and are responsible for their living expenses abroad.

Summer Study Abroad
BSM students have a program in Europe which involves study in two countries. Usually, this involves 2 weeks in Madrid, Spain and 2 weeks in Paris, France. Participants take two courses: Topics in International Management (3 hours credit) and Topics in International Finance (3 hours credit).

MBA students have the opportunity to choose summer study abroad in either Asia, Mexico, or Europe. Locations for these programs include Beijing, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Monterrey, Mexico, Costa Rica, Barcelona, and Paris. In addition, MBA students have the opportunity to pursue internships with US multinational or foreign institutions in Asia, Europe and Latin America during the summer between their first and second year. Two courses are offered sequentially. They are Topics in International Management (3 hours credit) and Topics in International Finance (3 hours credit).
