Tiffany Elizabeth Palermo is a First Year PhD student in Organizational Behavior at the A.B. Freeman School of Business Tulane University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mount Vernon College (currently known as George Washington University/Georgetown Campus) in 1991. Ms. Palermo was selected as an Intern for Senator J. Bennett Johnston on Capital Hill during her senior year in college. Prior to joining Tulane, Ms. Palermo was the Managing Partner for Long Leaf Canteen in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was responsible for the contractual negotiations, marketing strategies, recruitment and training, designing and purchasing, and clientele relations.

Her research interests will concentrate on the differences in behavior seen between a fairly large family business and a comparable public corporation when both are operating in the same market place. Her dissertation will compare and contrast the different behavioral patterns seen in both types of organizations when both are engaged in selling exactly the same products and services.

Currently, Ms. Palermo is a new member of both the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society.
