Freeman Writing Center

Mission

Writing instructors teach the clear, concise, and precise writing skills that meet the standards of communication appropriate for the business world.  To accomplish our mission, we concentrate on the following areas:

  • Audience and purpose,
  • Macro and micro organization,
  • Logical oranization,
  • Professional tone,
  • Appropriate document design and layout,
  • Solid sentence syntax, and
  • Standard grammar and mechanics for business style.

Writing instructors have graduate degrees in English or Business, or experience as university instructors or professional editors. Our legal coaches are law students or lawyers.
