Thursday, October 31, 2002 Welcome to the 24th annual Tulane Business Forum to be held Thursday, October 31, 2002, at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside. The Forum is sponsored by the Tulane Association of Business Alumni of the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Each year, the Forum features speakers of national acclaim who address a wide variety of business topics of general interest to the business community. Six credit hours of Continuing Professional Education can be earned by attending the Forum.
Tulane University was founded in 1834 as the Medical College of Louisiana. In 1884, the university was renamed Tulane University of Louisiana in honor of Paul Tulane, a New Orleans business leader. Tulane's current enrollment includes over 11,000 students from all 50 states and 75 foreign countries. As one of Tulane's 11 schools and colleges, the Freeman School offers the bachelor of science in management, master of accounting, master of business administration, and doctor of philosophy degrees to its 1,200+ students. The Freeman School also offers study abroad and internship programs in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The Freeman School is ranked consistently in the top 50 nationally by leading publications, i.e., U. S. News & World Report and Business Week. |
