The State of Louisiana has recently adopted a Film Tax Credit program designed to provide incentives to motion picture, television and commercial producers to film their productions in Louisiana. The Film Tax Credit program puts Louisiana in the company of a few select jurisdictions that provide incentives to the entertainment industry. It's a bold initiative; one that is destined to be misunderstood.
